Vanishing Point, 2026, Oil pastel and oil stick on Clairefontaine paper, 300 x 150 cm

I had a dream that I was walking through an old colonial-type house. The details escape me, but I remember the ceilings were high, the doors were all wide open, and the light cast through the windows bathing everything in a soft light. I walked for what seemed like an age, but the Internet tells me was most likely only a few minutes in real time. I ended up in a room with no windows. Across from the entrance was a large wall, with a drawing on it that covered most of the surface. I recognised the drawing as my own. As I got closer, I could tell that the material was pastel, infinite shades of blue emerging from a field of black. Several white lines emanated from a single point in the middle. It was so bright and inviting, and the colours made it feel like the sea. I got the urge to jump in, but I woke up. I made this drawing to remember.
